Year of Luigi Soundtrack Inbound for Club Nintendo Japan

For those of you who?have been hiding under a rock this year?are unaware, 2013 is the Year of Luigi, and Nintendo has been pulling out all of the stops! Luigi got his own 3DS title,?Luigi's Mansion 2, as well as an appearance in?New Super Mario Bros. 2?and a prominent role in?Mario and Luigi: Dream Team. On the Wii U side of things, he's got his own DLC (New Super Luigi U), and he'll be appearing in Super Mario 3D World later this year. Additionally, Year of Luigi coins and hats were given out at Best Buy's Nintendo Experience last month.

On top of all of that, everyone's favorite green-clad plumber?will be getting?his own soundtrack! At least, in Japan he is.?Japanese Club Nintendo?members will have the opportunity to purchase the title for 400 coins and may be eligible for a discount; members who have registered Luigi's Mansion 2, New Super Luigi U, or Mario & Luigi: Dream Team are able to pick up the limited edition sound track for just 200 coins.

The CD is chock-full of content, containing over 30 tracks from these featured games:

• Mario Super Sluggers
• Mario Tennis GC
• Super Paper Mario
• Mario Kart Wii
• Mario Kart DS
• Mario Strikers Charged
• Mario Sports Mix
• Mario & Luigi: Dream Team
• Luigi's Mansion 2

Currently, this item is only confirmed for Japan, but it could hopefully make it's way around the globe sometime later. Personally, I'd like to see it come to America; I haven't had a proper reason to spend my points since the gold Nunchuk came out.?
