Scott Michaels
DEER CREEK BROADCASTING Country KHSL/CHICO, CA PD/afternoon host SCOTT MICHAELS is headed back to MAPLETON COMMUNICATIONS/CHICO as OM. He will also handle PD duties at Country KALF, the station he programmed for over 10 years before moving on to DEER CREEK. MICHAELS replaces the exiting MARK "COYOTE" McGEE, who was arrested on child molestation charges in JUNE (NET NEWS 6/26).
In addition to KALF, the cluster that MICHAELS will oversee includes Classic Rock KFMF, Classic Hits KZAP, and AC KQPT. He will also handle mornings on KALF until a new morning personality is found. E-mail MICHAELS at smichaelsdcb@gmail.com.?
