It?s official! Hilltop Sports Co-Ed Softball league began its first season on Aug. 8. Shanna Banks, Studio 6.7 early childhood/volunteer director at Northview Church, said she worked with Aaron Adams, a member from East 91st Christian Church, to start the league.

There are eight teams in total. Three are comprised of members from Northview Church?s Carmel campus, three from East 91st Street Christian Church and two from Carmel Lutheran and St. Mark?s United Methodist church. The season is well underway, and everyone is enjoying the fellowship. ?It has been a great networking opportunity for new and seasoned members alike to get to know each other,? Banks said.

The season will run through the week of Oct. 3 and end with a tournament. If you are looking for an activity that your whole family will enjoy, come out from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday evenings at the Northview Church softball fields.
