Their romance under wraps for months, Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger decided to open up about their relationship - and engagement! - to Hello! Canada.
On the cover Lavigne, 27, proudly flashes her 14-carat diamond ring with Nickelback frontman Kroeger, 37, wrapping his arms around the singer. Aww.
The couple met while working on her forthcoming fifth album in February.
"I knew I was falling for her," Chad told Hello! Canada of their intense studio sessions. "It was incredibly powerful and something I'll never forget."
According to once-wed Lavigne, the Nickelback singer "makes me laugh every day. He takes care of me in every way and is extremely attentive."
The "Rock Star" singer gushes that because of Avril, "I feel like the luckiest person alive because I get to be with my best friend every day!"
She was married to Sum 41 singer and guitarist Deryck Whibley, 32, from 2006-2010. This will be the first marriage for Kroeger. Congrats!
